Mike BerriochoaAfter graduating from MHHS, I attended the University of Idaho where I earned my Bachelors degree in Radio/Television. It was there that I met my wife, Jocelyn, a native South Dakota who was also attending the U of I. We were introduced by Blair and Ann Clark. Ann and Joce were sorority sisters. We were married two years later. After graduating from the University of Idaho, I pursued a broadcast news career for 25 years before moving into the field of corporate communications. I am presently the Communications Program Manager for Pacific Northwest National Laboratory in Richland, Washington, where I develop and implement the communications strategy for the Laboratory's Environmental and Health Sciences Division. Prior to working for the Laboratory I was employed in media relations at Fluor Daniel Hanford Company for two years and at Westinghouse Hanford Company for eight years where I supervised communications for one of the nation's largest environmental restoration projects. My wife and I have two sons, David and Daniel. David was married in August and Dan is finishing his senior year in high school. When I'm not behind my computer or on an airliner, I'm doing my own flying, announcing air shows or fly fishing the rivers and streams of the great Pacific Northwest. Life is good here and friends are always welcome to visit.
Boesiger, RichardI graduated from the University of Idaho in '71, drew # 127 in the draft lottery (not good odds in Elmore County), received my draft notice a few months later, joined the SeaBee's, and spent a couple years with them. Met wife Kris in Moscow and married just before I shipped out. We moved back to Mt. Home and I went to work for Rusty Hamilton, who taught me how to build houses. Later my brother, Max, and I built houses in Mtn. Home for several years. When the crash hit in about '80, we moved to Boise, built houses for a while then we joined our Dad in construction and development business. He taught us commercial construction and subdivision develepment. I am very lucky to have had mentors all along the way. We shut down the business last year and I am currently "temporarily retired". Kris and I have 4 kids: Todd graduated at University of Idaho, works for Micron, and made us grandparents this year; Brian graduated Santa Clara and is a 3rd year medical student at University of Utah; Richard Jr. is at Idaho State University; Jacy is at Santa Clara. We became empty-nesters last year and are still trying to adjust to that, and figure out what's next.
Campbell, DaveAfter graduation, I recovered from a severe sunburn gained after falling asleep in the sun at the sand dunes and set about attending just about every college in Idaho. In 1968, the draft exemption ran out. I joined the Army, went through OCS to become a "butter bar" and spent 1969 in Viet Nam (tracked down Ron at Bien Hoa while there) before deciding that was not a safe career goal (but I did enjoy the R&R trips to Sydney and Bangkok). When they let me go, I was told there was no civilian related occupation for what they had trained me in (Army Intelligence). I got married (1st time around, which proved the intelligence training failed), began working for the State, returned to school in the evenings and eventually did graduate from LCSC. Spent 19 years working for the State in Corrections and later in Child Support Enforcement in Boise, Cottonwood, Lewiston and back to Boise. I met and was married to my wife, Jolene, in Lewiston in 1985. In 1990, I made the transition from public to the private sector and, for the last 10 years, have been based in Indianapolis and working as something called a Systems Consultant. This has taken me on periodic short term assignments to Michigan, Colorado, South Carolina, California, etc., but has kept me pretty close to home for the most part. We miss Idaho and the West, but manage to return to Boise every year for my Mom's July 5th birthday. Jolene and I have 5 grown kids (hers and mine, not ours) and 4 grandchildren to date. Nick, our youngest, is a Senior and we are looking forward to "empty nest" syndrome. Yes, we are COLTS and a PACERS fans!!!
Carr, Cynthia (Jenkins)Currently I'm teaching American Government at Borah High here in Boise. Mr. Peterson (yes, our MHHS A.G. teacher), inspired me to major in political science at the U.of Idaho. I formerly taught at West Junior High, but took a 9 year hiatus when my daughters were younger. Today, Jessica & Abby are attending college in Tacoma (U of Puget Sound & Pacific Lutheran U.) ...needless to say, I'm almost always broke! Every year, I take a small group of students to tour Washington, D.C. with the Close Up Foundation. I enjoy collecting political buttons and other patriotic memorablia.

Gebert, Linda (Bethke)One month after graduation I married Ron Kramer who was a pilot in the AF stationed at MHAFB. The 23 year marriage lasted about 22 1/2 years too long, but it afforded me the opportunity to live in many great places: Texas, Louisiana, The Philippines, Arizona and Florida and it produced four wonderful children who are all grown now. Ron retired from the AF in 1983 and my years as a stay at home mom ended. I began working as the bookkeeper for food service for the Bay County School System in Panama City, FL. I also began classes at Gulf Coast Community College and received an assiciates degree in accounting. In 1988, Ron and I separated and the divorce was final in March of 1989. I moved to Orlando in 1990 and now work as a comptroller for the Osceola District Schools in Kissimmee, FL. In 1992 I met the love of my life, Paul Bethke! We survived raising two obnoxious 15 year olds (one his, one mine and only one week apart in age)and after their high school graduation in 1995, we got married. Paul is a mechanical engineer and works for Lockheed Martin. We plan to retire(if the stock markets improve)in a year and a half. Together we have 5 children and 8 beautiful grandchildren (#9 is due in October). My children: Kristin Fox 34, Orlando area, married to Lonnie, daughter, Ashley 7, son, Bryan 6; Ron Kramer, Jr. 33, USAF stationed at Eglin AFB, Ft. Paul's daughter, Jennifer Bethke 25, Orlando area, will be married to Jim Pappas in October, daughter, Kaitlyn 5. When I'm not working, I enjoy my family (especially the grandchildren!), photography, traveling, boating, cooking, sewing, taking everyone who visits us to Disney World and Universal Studios, FL and swimming in our pool.
Grafft, Marilyn (Tackett)I had to toss a coin as to which event got my time, attention and MONEY this summer....and my daughter's wedding won out! If money grew on trees, however, I'd have been in Mountain Home this weekend. It breaks my heart to miss seeing all of you, and catching up with old memories and making new ones. I think maybe, since she offered, that we should have a second reunion at Helen Maxwells next year! That'll show her for running off to a foreign country rather than facing the old crowd! Actually I welcome anyone traveling through California on 101 to stop and see me too! I live less than a mile from 101, it's a free nights stay, and I would welcome seeing anyone, anytime! Might even take you out for a Wine Country tour. Have fun everyone! Love, Marilyn Grafft Tackitt
Fortner, JoeI live about four miles south of Mountain Home, on the S curve, in a 64 Buick Skylark convertible. This is the nice one with the extra chrome. I took out the front seat to create a kind of Great Room. How long I have been here and how I got here remains a mystery to me. I bus tables at the new McDonalds in town. They say this is my first real job in 28 years. I speak a passable Vietnamese, so I guess I must have traveled some in my youth. I'm working on an idea to create a trianary code for computers. I want to add "maybe" to reflect how humans really live. I'm looking for some ground floor investors. So, ladies if you are coming to this class reunion looking for a "keeper" to take home and show your grown kids, look no further. I'm practically house broke.

Jones, TerryLeft Mt Home and lived in Grandview Idaho for a year while my Father was in Vietnam. Joined the Air Force with Joe Paul Fortner (Moose) in April 1966. Did my tour as a Loadmaster and was stationed at Tuey Hoa (NAM) and Ching Chang Kuan (CCK) Taiwan 67-69 left the Air Force as a SSGT in 1970, and returned to Boise to attend college at BSU. Met up with John Ticshendorf after he got out of the Coast Guard. Met up with and fell in love with John's little sister Susie. After many months of trying to convince her parents that I was not a full blown hippie/drug dealer, even though I had not shaved or cut my hair for 3 years, they finally gave up and I married John's sister in 1973. While at school I took a full time job with the Boise Post Office and thought this is good, I will stay here (NOT). Realized after a year that I would go Postal eventually and decided that I would try the service again. Air Force was not looking for Pilots so I joined the Army and became a Aviation Warrant Officer. Sue and I have one daughter, born in 1975 who is planning to marry this December in Ft. Worth, Texas. Spent 21 years in the Army as a fixed and rotary wing instructor pilot. I was offered a job in El Paso, TX flying Russian helicopters and airplanes for the US Army as a civilian contractor (We conduct Threat Operations against US Forces throughout the US) and retired in June of 1995. We have been here ever since and I am currently the Chief Pilot for the organization. We bought property in New Meadows, ID three years ago and plan to build our home this year. Looking forward to renewing old friendships at the reunion. See you in July...

Mertz, Margaret (Hering)AFTER GRADUATION I WOKED AT MHAFB FOR SEVERAL YEARS AS A KEY PUNCH OPERATOR. AFTER MOVING TO BOISE I STARTED WORKING FOR CONSOLIDATED FREIGHTWAYS (CF). AS PART OF MY JOB IN TRANSPORTATION I JOINED THE TEAMSTERS UNION, LOCAL 483. SERVED AS A SHOP STEWARD FOR SEVERAL YEARS BEFORE BEING ELECTED TO THE POSTION OF RECORDING SECRETARY ON THE EXECUTIVE BOARD, A POSITION THAT I HAVE HELD SINCE 1983. MY JOB AT CF AS A RATE SPECIALIST IS VERY CHALLENGING AND CAN BE VERY INTERESTING. MY CURRENT ASSIGNMENT IS RATING BILLS FOR INTERNATIOANL SHIPMENTS (SURE WISHED THAT I HAD PAID MORE ATTENTION IN GEOGRAPHY CLASS). MY HUSBAND, JIM, WORKS FOR HEWLETT PACKARD AS A CUSTOMER SERVICE AGENT, SO IF YOU HAVE TO CALL HP ABOUT YOUR SCANNER MESSING UP YOU MAY GET HIM. WE HAVE 3 DAUGHTERS AND 4 GRANDCHILDREN (3 BOYS AND 1 GIRL).
Montrose, Sandy (Curti)After Randy's dad got transferred to Hawaii in the summer of 64 I had big plans to go there after I graduated in 65. Of course, being 17 and newly into boys that didn't last too long. I met Edd Curti, (through Wayne Selvig) and we started seeing each other about the time my senior year started. We dated all that year and the two years that I went to Boise State. We married in June of 67 and moved to New Jersey when he got out of the service. We had a son, Ted in 69 and then we moved to California in 70. We had another son, Jeff in 72. I was a housewife and mother and very active in the boy's schools and sports. They were both excellent athletes and very busy with soccer, baseball, and football. My marriage fell apart in 81 and we divorced. I went to work for Simpson Paper Company in Pomona, Ca. Was pretty scary for a time as I had never worked before. But, I did well, and worked my way up to a Finishing Supervisor . (The department that cut the rolls of paper we made into different size sheets). Then just as I bought myself a new car and new house the company decided to down size and eventually closed. So the last 3 years have been tough starting over. I never remarried, just never found the right person. I did try though! I had ended a 7 year relationship a year ago and thought I was done with men. Then Randy appeared again. Life is strange. I have two wonderful sons, Ted is 30 and lives in Dana Point, CA. He is an electrician/project mgr. for an Electrical Company in Costa Mesa. He is single, and thinking of moving to Hawaii in March. My other son, Jeff, is 27 and is a police officer with LAPD, so he and Randy have a lot in common. He got married this past September. He lives only about ten miles away from me in Upland. I work for International E-Z UP, Inc. in Riverside Ca. They make instant shelters. I work in the Supply Chain Dept., Inventory Control. It is an okay job. I am really sorry I didn't go back and finish college. Hindsight!
Nack, Kim I found my name on the Missing List. It was fun to see the websight with all the information about the class mates of Mtn Home HS, Idaho. I would like to add my info so I will no longer be a Missing Person. My two sisters graduated from the same HS. Carol Ann in 1963 and Laurie in 1971, I think. My Dad even worked at the HS as a Study Hall Watcher between those graduations, after he retired from the Air Force. I tried college in 1965, U of I, but went into the enlisted ranks of the Air Force for 4 years with trips to SEA. Came back to Mtn Home in 1970 and went to U of I . Graduated in Mech Engrg in 1974. Then went to Boeing, Seattle, and have put in 30 years and am now in St. Louis, Mo. I feel like I am a long way from home. I really liked living around Mtn. Home. I found my wife in St. Louis 1979 and had 4 children. The youngest is 14. Hoping to be a Grandpa soon.
Nate, Billie (McDonald)After graduation I attended BJC for one year and didn't go back to College until 1978 and finally graduated in '82 with a B.A. in Business Mgnt. and a 2nd degree in Sociology. I married Charles Mellon (also a MHHS graduate) in '67. We had 2 children, Joseph (now age 28) and Angela (now 23). Both of my children live near me in Meridian. Joseph has a daughter, Cyndell, age 1, and Angela has a daughter, Riley, age 2. My granddaughters are a Blessing and my pride and joy. Charlie and I were divorced in 84. He is remarried and living in Boise. I remarried July 92 to Greek McDonald, we live in Meridian on 6 acres of lawn, trees & flowers. We have one dog, a Chow Chow who doesn't know that he is a dog, he thinks he is a child. Greek is a retired General Contractor/ Real Estate Agent. My father, Eldon Nate died in 92 and my mother Leota died in 97, I miss them every day. I still have my two dear sisters, Bonnie and Jan (my best friends). Bonnie lives in North Pole, Alaska & Jan lives in Boise. I have been working for the Social Security Admin. in Boise for 22 years as a Social Insurance Rep. Some of our interests are, of course, taking care of our home, large yard & flowers. We also own classic cars (Greek's passion & hoppy). We have a motorhome & travel when we can to Car Shows & Rod Runs in the northwest. I plan to retire in 3 years and to do a lot more traveling. I survived a serious illness last summer. It is a rare illness called Guillain-Barre Syndrome. I was hospitalized at Mercy Medical in Nampa for one month & then transferred to the Idaho Elks Rehab Hospital in Boise for another month. I returned to work in Dec. on a part time basis. Our Good Lord decided it was not my time to leave this Earth because He still has work left for me to here. I have been blessed with a wonderful family, a happy marriage, a great career and some very dear friends.
Ours, JennyThere is way too much history to go there...so I'll just update my current happenings....I moved to Boise about 18 years ago. I've been with my best friend Dick for the past 18 years. Both my children, daughter Barclay, 31 and son Bob, 28 live in Boise. I'm the grandmother of a 1 year old cutie named Tristan. I quit working a couple of years ago and developed the hobby of showing dogs. I am currently developing my own "Line" of Longcoat Chihuahuas...(don't laugh). My current contender and I travel to shows mostly in the West but plan to make it to NY and Westminster sometime before I die. My sister, Courtney, got me started and it's the most fun hobby I've ever had. What can I say....we've both gone to the dogs. I'm looking forward to seeing everyone this summer at the reunion. See ya there!

Read, Kris (Dee)My husband Bob has been employed with the F.A.A. for the last 10 yrs. We left Idaho in 1990 & lived in Bend, Ore. till '93. Uncle Sam gave us a choice we couldn't refuse and we moved to Anchorage, AK. One year of the city life was plenty, so we bought a home in the quaint town of Wasilla, 40 mi. from Anchorage. We lived in the forest, no neighbors, lots of moose and our bit of heaven. It was by far the most beautiful place I have ever lived. Leaving Alaska was most difficult but with family in the States we left in '98. We now live in Crawfordsville, Or, Bob works at the airport in Eugene, a close commute. I miss the snow but Bob says "yes but you don't have to shovel rain!" Our home is on 3 1/2 acres, we call it "The Ramblin Rose" because of all the wild roses that grow on the property. We are nestled in the Williamette valley surrounded by pine covered mountains, and we enjoy the creek, deer, raccon, and beaver. Our daughter, Misty & son in law, and granddaughters Breanne, 5, and MaKenzie, 1, live in Sweet Home, 10 miles from here. Our son Steve, wife Christina and granddaughter Allisa, 3, live in Mtn. Home. Our daughter Lonnie also lives in Mtn. Home and is teaching school. Bob, our youngest lives with us at present. I enjoy: our grandchildren, restoring & refinishing furniture, collecting depression glass & dishes, and gardening.
Stelwagen, Recca (Sewell)Afrer graduation from MHHS, my father who was a Master-Sargent in the USAF was assigned to Ellsworth AFB, Rapid City, S.D. From May 1965 until May 1966, I attended the National College of Business in Rapid City. There I met and on June 1, 1966 married Charles Sewell at Ellsworth AFB Chapel. We moved to Taccoa, Georgia and on Sept. 4, 67 our son Charles Jr. was born. In 1968 we moved to Lavonia and in Dec, 1970 our daughter Catherine was born. We built our present home here in 1971. In 1976 I went to work short term for the Toccoa Housing & Management Authority. In Sept. '76 I went to work for Bellcraft Mfg. in Hartwell, Georgia. For several years I served as Cub Scout den mother and church secretary. In '98 I became the supervisor of my unit for a short time but ill health forced me to return to my previous job. In '92 our daughter gav us our first grandchild, Andrew who was born at the beginning of Hurricane Andrew. In 1999, both our son & daughter gave us a granddaughter 9 weeks apart. These 3 children make life especially joyful. My leisure activities include decorative painting, needlework, gardening and reading. I look foreward to the opportunity of seeing classmates I have not seen in 35 years.
Stump, Charles> In the summer of 1965 my father gave me two choices College or Military. My grades from high school said choice #2 Military, so I left Mountain Home and joined the Air Force. In the spring of 66 while stationed at Randolph AFB San Antonio, I met the one person that has had the greatest influence and effect on my life and I can truly say that I am who I am today because God shared her with me. After a year in Vietnam, Linda Jo Patak and I were married on June 8, 1968. In the Air Force I was trained as an Air Traffic Controller and I continued my career with the FAA while living in Oklahoma City, Dallas, San Antonio, and Denver until 1979, when I took a medical retirement and moved back to Dallas. Through the 80’s I had several jobs in sales - automobiles, boats, and airplanes. I owned a Boat Dealership for three years selling large yachts, and from 88 94 bought and sold airplanes flying all over the country, even sold one in Mt Home. In 1992 I was ordained a Deacon in the Catholic Church and I discovered I had a gift of healing through counseling, especially women that were victims of abuse. Thirty years later and with the encouragement from Linda, I enrolled as a full-time student at Dallas Baptist University in the spring of 94, graduating the summer of 96 with a dual degree in Psychology and Aviation Management. The summer of 2000, I graduated from Texas A&M Commerce with a Master of Science in Counseling. After discovering education I just can’t stop, I am now enrolled at the University of Dallas in a Masters Program in Pastoral Ministries. I am the Director of Pastoral Services for the Catholic Diocese of Dallas, which includes the Hospital and Jail Chaplains, Addiction Ministries, Deaf & Persons with Disabilities and the Grief Ministry. After thirty-three years Linda and I still celebrate marriage and live East of Dallas in Rowlett on the shore of Lake Ray Hubbard in a house we built six years ago. I can honestly say life is still an adventure with each day leading to new discoveries with God holding the secret to it all. And all this from a guy that got kicked out of a football game for unnecessary roughness.
Swearingen, RonGraduated from Bosie State in May 69. Got drafted 9 days later. Came home from Viet Nam in April 0f 71, went into the real estate business with my father the next day, in Mountain Home. Twenty years later I left the real estate business to become the director of economic development for the City of Mountain Home. I am married, wife Debbie (10 years). I have six grand children. My hobbies are golf and golf. I love going to Cabo San Lucas Mexico every year with Debbie where we have fun with Rick and Angela Parks. I still live in Mountain Home and love it.
Trueba, Ken I grew up in Mountain Home until 1962 when I went to Morocco for 2 years on an Air Force base there. We moved back to Salina, Kansas for two years and then on to Ellsworth AFB in South Dakota. I finished my high school there and went on to study Physics at the South Dakota School of Mines and Technology. I met my wife Carol and we were married in November of 1969. I left school for a couple of years, went into the Army and was stationed in Neu Ulm, Germany for 2 ½ years. My two daughters Teresa and Amy were born there. We came back to South Dakota where I finished my BS in Physics and my MS in Electrical Engineering. I went to work for Hewlett Packard Co. in the spring of 1976 in Cupertino, California. 2 ½ years later we moved to Corvallis, Oregon where we live today. We moved to Vancouver, Washington for 3 years in 1981 and to Barcelona, Spain for 2 ½ years in 1995. While at HP I was instrumental in the development of the DeskJet print cartridge and the technology around it. My daughter Teresa is married and is a chemical engineer working for HP in Vancouver, Washington on inkjet technology. My daughter Amy is married and is working on her doctorate in planetary geology at Arizona State University. She spent part of last year downloading data from the Sprit Rover on Mars. An additional note, many of you have known my brother Howard who was in the class of 1967. We lost him to cancer in 1981, he was a great brother and friend and had a great love of life. A couple of years before he died he took up sailing and got to be well known as a competitive sailor in Dana Point, CA. When he died they set up a yearly memorial race in his name. Here is a link to the memorial web page: http://www.dpyc.org/race/hrbrchmp.htm As many of you may also know my father William Trueba was assistant principal there at the high school and later principal at the junior high. He and several of my brothers and my sister live there in town. I look forward to seeing all of you at the reunion.
Vesey, CherylI retired from TWA in '92 after 25 years. My significant other John Dennis, also a TWA retiree, and I moved to Port Townsend, Wash where I went back to work as a travel agent specializing in cruises. We were unable to acclimate to the 10 months of rain and overcast skies of the Northwest. We recently moved back to southern Calif., Temecula to be exact. For those unfimilar with Calif., Temecula is the up and coming wine country of the southern part of the state. It lies approx. 70 miles north of San Diago and 60 miles south of Riverside. We have purchased acreage here and plan on building our dream home. We are avid sailors and have been making 2 or 3 trips a year to the Caribbean where we charter boats and sail from island to island. That was the only way we could tolerate the winters in the Northwest. We recently discovered the speed and comfort of the large catamarans and have become converts. See pic on the photo page of one of our trips. I look foreward to seeing everyone at the reunion in July!
Weathers, KenTo say the least it has been an interesting 35 years. Went from High school to work for Boeing aircraft in Kent Wash. From there I spent four years in the Navy in the wonderful sun of South Vietnam. After the Navy I came back home and went back to college. Got married to a woman from Portland. We met through her brother, who I served with in the Navy. We lived in Mt. Home for 10 years, had two wonderful kids, one boy and one girl. We then moved to Boise and started an automotive air conditioning business. After 24 years we got a divorce. I lost the business and have worked at different places for the past five years. I am currently employed at Action tire and car care center trying to get my business started back up. My kids are doing fine, my daughter is in college studying to be a veterinarian and my son is in the Navy currently in Korea. My hobbies are horses, archery, cars, hunting and remote control planes.
Weir, PaulaI dropped out of college & became a flight attendant living in New York City. Later I married an Air Force pilot and while living in Texas I had Son Keith. After 7 years of marriage and Keith was 1 1/2 yr.. old I got a divorce and moved to Charleston, SC, where my folks had retired. Since then I have been working, working and more working while raising Keith, who graduated from The Citadel in 1995. (He said it was a piece of cake after living with me and my rules & regulations!) He is now married to a wonderful girl, Helen Ann, who graduated from law school and is now working as a Clerk for a Circuit Court Judge for a year. I now have the best of "Law and Order" since my Son is now in law enforcement instead of the banking business & is living in Columbia. I had a wonderful dog I got from the pound, who passed on, so I am biding my time until I get 2 dogs this time. I've been in the automotive business for the last 25 yrs. (GM for 21 of those years) and am currently the Office Manager at Jones Ford Inc. Needless to say I've had several almost serious relationships, but still haven't remarried yet.
